Use them as intended- to regulate and get yourself into some kind of schedule. A day lasts 24 hrs +/-. You have to fit everything into that including time to wind down as well as sleep. If you don't, you will never beat this problem. You say you have no substance abuse problems, so try two beers/drinks/bowls and a sleeping pill you like, or one beer/drink/bowl, or something like that, but more importantly watch your schedule. Try it dude- regulating your time is easier done than taking some fucking chemical whatever it may be.
