Harvard Business Professor's Report Says Online Adult Entertainment Consumption Bipartisan And Stronger in Conservative States

The article, "Red Light States: Who Buys Online Adult Entertainment", by Benjamin Edelman, Assistant Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School, goes on to say that there's a higher concentration of adult content consumption in Red states like Utah and Mississippi that tend to be more conservative and religious, than in Democratic leaning Blue states.



Coffman said advance inquiries for the much anticipated RealTouch product that will launch this spring seem to follow that pattern. "Perhaps conservatives need a little more help relaxing."



Edelman, who consults with companies such as Microsoft and AOL, pulled data from an undisclosed client that runs dozens of adult websites. His conclusions come from about two years of credit card data from 2006 to 2008 that included purchase dates and customer postal codes.
