My point was that he SHOULD have said no comment- I do not have all the facts, the way it happened did make Obama seem unprofessional by chiming in with that type of comment. As far as the race issue itself goes- H2c had it right- cops can be hard on people that fit certain types whether it be minorities or some of my long hair or bald friends- so why not just play nice with them. Say hi officer what is the problem, thanks officer I will produce the id as soon as I can get it. Playing nice with them can keep you from getting a ticket sometimes much less catching a beating or getting arrested. Unless insane cops do not just pull up to a person of color and start beating them- play nice and see if you can get a better result.
