Dirty, I drove for Burlington '95-'96. It was fun for six months, I was gone after a year. All I saw was a bunch of truck stops and warehouses. Had a company Freightliner cab-over with a castrated small block, cut off at 62. Long haul as a single, started reefer but got moved to dry freight.
Any rate, I was curious if you are an owner/operator and what kind of truck you have. I used to read all about the different kinds of tractors sitting around with nothing to do.
Sometimes I think about getting back into the game, but then I remember that 4 hours breaking down pallets in an Alabama Wal-Mart warehouse in July, and having my brakes continue to freeze up because the stupid company wouldn't have the dryer fixed, ugh, you guys work too hard.
I always say, "Have a safe trip," to my customers when they leave to go back home, that's a leftover touch from truckin', and I'll say it to you, too, have a safe trip!
