The tests are usually available the next day, but it's not guaranteed. You don't want to place your bets on the test being available the next day, just in case. And it's not true that if you test somewhere else people won't hire you. I just worked with a girl a week ago who'd been tested somewhere else. As long as the testing place is valid and you can check up on it, there's no problem. If you've got a lazy producer that doesn't want to do their homework, then yes they'll probably say they only want AIM tests done. And to be fair everyone knows the AIM offices and they are trusted by people in the industry-- we all know about cases (one in particular) where people faked their results. Testing at AIM (and being able to call and checkup on it) is a sure way to make sure everything is kosher.

And why would you try to get a regular checkup at the AIM clinic? Go to a regular doctor's office, for christssakes.
