JFK's WWII act of heroism involved saving most of the crew of the PT Boat JFK was commanding after it was "Destroyed" by a Japanese Destroyer. The truth of the actual incident is, the PT boat was rammed and cut in half by a Japanese destroyer in supposedly dense fog.
I am not going to belabor my point or trash JFK...but do you know how hard it is to have a japanese destroyer ram a pt boat in such a fashion to cut it EXACTLY in half?? It takes a special kind of stupidity, even allowing for pea soup thick fog, to have this happen.
