Jim Powers has a whole surreal, "Cabinet of Dr Caligari" meets "Café Flesh" vibe on this one, with lotsa angular camera shots, smash close-ups of weirdos in strange get-ups, garish, hot pink and green lighting, and a sci-fi shock soundtrack. It's actually pretty fuckin' impressive, in a goofy art movie kinda way. Course, in lesser hands, this sorta of nonsense would have killed the masturbation potential dead, but Mistah Powers ain't a millionaire for nothin', man. Even with the cartoon chase scenes and devil brides and psycho man-nurses, FT 2 is hard-on city.
