I agree generally, except I prefer the Meisterstuck Classique ballpoint to the fountain pen. I have a few of them, medium point, blue ink.

The fountain pens look nice, but if you have to take any real notes or sign a 30-40 Cheques in a row it just turns into a big fucking mess.


PS I also agree that a tie clip with a scimitar makes you look like an undercover Serbian war criminal.
