How do I edit photos, like blacking out something re: license plate? PowerBook G4 running OS 10.4 and an iMac running 10.3. What I want is something like Paint or Photo Editor that comes with Windoze.

You have to get PhotoShop CS4. They also have PhotoShop Elements for those who can't afford CS4.

Don't you have iPhoto?

One of the cheapest editors around, and a damn good one too, is Coral Paint Shop Pro. I found it at Best Buy for $50.

Or just use google .

I downloaded Seashore, and it seems to do the simple things I want. I thought maybe there was something that came with the OS that I missed.

I think there might me a mac version of Gimp available. Gimp is an open source program similar to photoshop.

Yes, Gimp is available, but you need to load something from the OS X disk for it to run. Sea-whatever is simpler for the little bit of what I need. Google did find all this quickly, thanks.
