I'm inclined to agree with Croc. This whole cartoon business reeks of an Imus-esque faux "controversey", manufactured to generate publicity. A media outlet gets a million dollars worth of free advertising by making itself the story... and I seriously doubt any Murdoch enterprise is worried about offending its liberal readers [ seeing as they don't exist ]. Due credit to these machiavellian ferrets for knowing which side their bread is buttered on, and for fostering cynicism and coarsening debate by appealing to the lowest common denominator.
