What about Barney Miller? That show was on the air for about ten years and I can't recall one scene of one episode that took place anywhere besides that dinky police station. Everyone on the show was a detective and yet there was never one scene of anyone detecting anything other than the hash that Wojo's girlfriend put in the brownies.
