It's okay. Whenever a joke is made about my pets I get tons of PMs from posters who like pictures of cute animals. It is okay with me to make fun, they are, after all quite silly little animals.

You wouldn't believe the amount of kind and supportive comments I have gotten from XPT folks in regards to the death of a pet. What I mean to say is that you haven't got to defend me, though I appreciate where you're coming from. My posts about my morose feelings due to the death of my youngest one have not gone unnoticed by others.

Some people don't feel how strong the impact of a pet death feels. I ignore them.
