Today's Gag Factor Great Woman of History is Madame Curie (1867-1934). Born of humble circumstances in Poland, Marie "Madame" Curie struggled to develope her keen intellect at the Sorbonne and became a key figure in theorhetical Physics, twice winning the Nobel Prize for her work and coining the term "radioactivity". She died of leukemia in 1934 as a result of her experiments with radioactive substances. A "curie" is now defined as a unit measure of radioactivity in honor of her. Sadly, despite her important and award winning work in Physics, Mrs. Curie was not admitted to the French academy of Sciences simply because of her sex.
QUOTE:
"Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood." --Marie Curie
And now, in the interest of establishing a continuum with the Great Women of the Past and the present, we present to you the above quote from Madame Curie as it might sound were she appearing in Gag Factor as she uttered it (head UPSIDEDOWN of a ratty couch; mercilessly pistoning penis assaulting her mouth; her saliva, phlegm, snot everywhere in a desperate attempt to breathe; etc.):
"Noothin in loof *COUGHHACK*iv non *GLUBGLUBGLUBHACK!*doo buh *COUGHCOUGH* WAIT! I Can'T BrEAtHE! feared *COUGHWHEEZEGLUBGLUB* It is only to *GLUBHACK* EHHH! buh unnerszood *COUGHCOUGH* AHA!!!"
