Is water-boarding really torture? I have some lingering doubts, but I like to look at it in the same way as the windfall profit tax, proposed by BO, for the oil companies. It's completely wrong, but considering who it is being leveled against, I find it hard to work up any concern.

So you're ok with it, if anyone is tortured, even a member of your family - after all if you want to condone it to others you should also allow someone close to you be in that situation, prior with any evidence relating that person to terrorism?

I'm not liberal I do think Islam is a backward religion, and from what I've seen quite a few are erring on the side of terrorism (1/10th support acts of terrorism?) but that sort of thinking is a vicious circle, you think they're sub humans so your rules go out of the window, normal Muslims get hurt and the shit continues and the reason for the start of wars. Or should I say that's already occured with mostly supporting what's going on. Hell things like "wipe all muslims out" sometimes doesn't even raise a eyebrow.
