There are clear errors of law, starting with trying Max in Florida in the first place. Max neither sold nor shipped anything to Florida and so didn't have any tangible nexus to Florida. The Trial Court found that having a link on Max's web site to the retailer who *did* sell & ship the video was sufficient. That right there is a major issue (and a huge issue to every manufacturer in the US).
I heard a *rumor* that the jury admitted discussing book deals etc during deliberations. If true that would certainly raise questions about the jury.
