That map is a joke. Kansas has 105 counties and at least a hundred of them are solid red. Three of the four Representatives elected last November are Republican with one of them defeating a Democratic incumbent (something that happened in the neighborhood of five seats in the whole House last election). The only Democratic House member's districit is entirely Wyandotte and Johnson counties (that is Kansas City for the out of towners) two of maybe five blue counties in the entire state. Democrats haven't carried Kansas in a presidential election since FDR yet they it listed as competitive. Meanwhile Missouri, a state which has swung back and forth in races for governor and senator in recent years is listed as solidly Democratic. Oklahoma, a state that has elected one Democratic senator since 1973 and currently has four of it's five seats in the House filled by Republicans is listed as slightly Democratic. Has Michael Moore branched out into the field of cartography?
