I, for one, would welcome the infusion of cash organized crime would bring into the industry. (only partially kidding)

Unfortunately, there's nothing organized about the crime that does exist.
It's limited to the occasional greedy asshole who will cheat hardworking talent and/or crew out of their well earned paycheck in order to pump up their already slim profit margin.

If everyone in the industry who owed me money from the last decade suddenly paid, I'd be almost $100K wealthier.
