I found it an apartment people had vacated a few days ago. (I do apartment cleaning.clearing for work somethime) Anyway the thing works find and I have the cords for it.
I have never been an Ipod owner and have heard that servicing them is a bitch.
The only issue in the one I found is there seems to be no right channel output from the headphone jack. From putting various jacks into it I found (oddly bent ones, etc) I can get sound out if it if I approach it from a odd angle. Not idea for hearing left and right on the go.
If I try to get it repaired am I going to get some kind of sting because the serial number doesn't match me?
How about those shop you see all over that offer to unlock phones, do you think they could do an MP# player repair. This is all new me me. But a free 30BG iPod makes me happy if it works.
My the was it was absolutely empty when I founded. The only personal info was it was registered to "My".
Thanks form any advice and just realize I want the cheapest rout to fix this jack. Otherwise it becomes an external hard drive.
EDIT: before anyone gives me this suggestion they were tested on a number of items included line into computer,
Bear with me, I have never used a cell phone before.
