It wasn't an argument Wilson... merely an observation. I love Burg in my own special, horribly inappropriate way. But he's got a long history of lamenting the tragic character defects that must, necessarily, lead a woman down the degrading path of selling her body for the pleasure of degenerates [ all the while conveniently ignoring the motives of men who do the same ]. And for just as long, I've been making the case that, degrading as it may appear, there are things a lot less dignified than fucking for money... especially if you have the good fortune to have been born a slut. There sure as hell isn't a whole lot of dignity in poverty. The reaction to this Soprano story just bears out what I've been saying all along. The woman essentially "fails" as a prostitute and ends up with a job that's apparently good enough for 70% of Mexican immigrants, and everyone pities her. Think about it. We have more admiration for a high-priced hooker than we do for honest wetbacks. Say what you want about the gokkun girls... at least they're smart enough to know their limitations. And even with a mouth full of jizz, they still manage to hold their head higher than some poor wench working 3rd shift at Denny's.
And this
is how I relax. I'm shitting on everyone's parade, and you're telling me to stfu. Feels like old times!
