It is appalling that he will be prosecuted, but Wilders is no free-speech absolutist. He has advocated the banning of the Koran in Holland. While I think the Koran is just another collection of fairy tales, like the Bible and all other religious texts, people do have a right to read it. The real solution to the problem isn't book-banning, but taking a sensible approach to immigration policy and taking measures to protect the native culture that do not deprive the immigrants of their speech, property and religious rights. The bottom line is they let too many Muslims immigrate under the banner of multi-culturalism. Now, Dutch culture may disappear within a century.
