Her IMDB page shows she's been acting since 1990. Her Wikipedia page says she's also a former fashion model before getting into acting and graduated high school in 1989. She moves to Los Angeles and started getting work quickly soon after. I've heard these rumors also for years but they seem to have been started in blogs. Maybe Charlie put those rumors out there. But she was already getting work soon after moving to Los Angeles. I just never believed the rumors.
