Do they still burn their city every Halloween? I remember a few years in a row I would hear it on the news but I thought it stopped. I never understood the mentality of burning your own community.
Yeah..they still do. Not as much as it used to happen, but they still do. If you drive through there right around Halloween you will see cars with little blue lights flashing driving around the city. They are volunteers looking for fires.
It's hard to burn anything when there's nothing left to burn.

It was a wonderful community with some very enjoyable members. But the vast majority were like German housewives circa 1943 prenteding that horrib;le smell wafting through their open windowsd was just the neighbors having a cookout..--Windsock
