No one here gave you any grief about the quality of your "portal". The grief that was bestowed upon you was due to the fact that every post you made was spam.

Since you don't seem to be clear on what spam is: What I mean is that all of the posts you made here linked back to your own site. You were spamming this message board with links to your site. Get it?

If you feel like posting an interesting article please do it. Link to the actual article though, not to your own page.

If you make an attempt to post here without spamming your "portal" in every post your presence would likely be better received.

Seriously, no one will mind if you feel like posting. Just please don't act like a tool making every one of your posts link back to your own site. That is spam and no one likes it.

EDIT: I forgot to say that I commend you for posting a serious question here. I did not expect you to come back. The original post you made in this thread seems to me to be exactly how one should use the forum. Ask questions, talk with others, whatever. What I am trying to say is that I appreciate that you didn't post spam. Thanks. I want to encourage you to post things like this question in the future.
