AS Brandon would know, we have 5 pin or "Canadian" bowling up here. I was in a bowling league when I was 11. It was humiliating on two levels:
1) I was a terrible bowler and everyone was better than me
2) My mom sewed my 'achievement' patches on my jacket, and my desire to not hurt her feelings meant I would wear said jacket to my bully-infested school.
