I own a house in Vegas and I can tell you that within the city limits of Las Vegas it is not legal to operate a porn company out of your house. Go to the city of Las Vegas' web site and click around. Now, that doesn't mean you couldn't edit videos or run a website from a server not located at your house, or even run one. I also don't know the rules for unincorporated areas like Spring Valley, Enterprise or Mountains Edge. Another good trick is to get an office suite somewhere or appoint a resident agent and use that as your official business address.

I've also seen plenty of unlicensed brothels operating out of rented homes in Vegas but they go short term and pack up after a month or so to loose the law, so if you want to skirt the license you'll probably be OK. Unless of course your neighbors hate you or have kids that they don't want corrupted.
