I gather Roberts didn't use a Teleprompter but instead did it from memory. Obama messed up earlier by jumping in at the wrong point and throwing Roberts off his cadence. Big deal.

Roberts probably should have used the old trick of practicing the speech while people are interrupting and trying to throw him off, but the oath is so short and the odds of a heckler in that setting so remote I'm sure it never occurred to him.
