The media could end up hurting Obama if it keeps overdoing it with the ass kissing. For one thing, it's patronizing to not hold him up to the same level of scrutiny as Bush and all other polticians (especially white politicians). What, couldn't he measure up? And eventually people are not going to take news reports on him seriously. They'll start talking about "what's really going on".
