If they are getting people to sign up, they are ahead and have people who would otherwise pay them nothing. You can want to do building without shelling out to the trade unions in NYC, but you can't. The masters, like Donald Trump and the idiot that owns the Nets, know how to balance with the sidefeeders.

But, I think they should do this WHILE doing everything they can to take down the links. Even if that means paying RS and NL a bit of cash for faster access to kill the links.

The best way to fight pirating is to take down the links as fast as possible. It pisses off the uploaders and makes certain scenes very, very hard to find.

I can tell you that I'll dl new Reality Kings stuff asap since the links never last more than 24 hours ... and rarely that long.

Some, like Blondsweety of PrivatAmateure, actually prowl the boards themselves and get their stuff down in no time. Posters on 3 boards actually have stopped uploading her stuff out of frustration. There is one where a poster was threatened with a ban if he continued with requests for her since it was clear no one wanted to list them anymore.

But, it seems few producers care enough to make any effort. I've offered more than one producer links to their movies as I come across them, but they just see no need to fight it. They consider it a waste of time.

But, from the frustration I read from those whose links get killed, it actually has an impact.

You upload a new RealityKings clip or a Hustler video on a popular site, it's coming down and fast. If it's up 24 hours, it's a long time. And, once the original links are killed, it's often quite an effort to find the movie/web clip.

Now, why these morons CARE if their stupid links are killed is beyond me. It's not like it takes a grand amount of effort to RAR and upload files. But, Christ, if they don't go crazy sometimes. And, the people who "missed out" are constantly begging for reposts that rarely come.
