Note that Jesse isn't on speaking terms with any of his family. They shot a short scene with a family friend who dropped by the shop and asked how the family was doing, and Jesse didn't even know. No comment made really (he blames his dad for a lot, yet doesn't even bother to know if mom or siblings are even alive?). The family may have disowned him when he wen to jail.
