In the UK, at University level (18+), at some more progressive institutions it is OK for students and tutors to fuck one another as long as a) student is not in tutor's class and b) Teacher has no role in evaluating said student's coursework or exams. The caveats are there to fend off predictable accusations about extra-private tutoring or unfeasibly favourable marking, obviously. I just found it kind of odd that one of those women on that list got charged for having sex with an 18 year old. As per my thoughts on feminism, if you're 18, you're 18...you are old enough to make up your own mind and live with the consequences.

I'm always amazed at how these female teachers in trouble for banging students are usually very do-able, or at least would clean up well. Not one "300 pounder with chin hair" in the bunch, as one might otherwise assume the female to look like if reading the headline alone. Debra Lafave is my fave - getting pounded in the backseat of her hubby's SUV by teen dude while his buddy is driving them around, like a real life bangbus. More gold from the trial:

“Oh, you're being weird,” Lafave responded. “Why are you being weird . . . That should be the least of your worries.”
