Personally, archival security. Like my still photography habits, I still shoot Kodachrome 64 slide film more than I do digital. I shoot digital stills mostly for 'on-the-spot' coverage of sporting events in case I have a parent/school/venue or something that wants to buy shit.

Unfortunately, I understand that 2009 will be the final year for production of Kodak 35mm slide media. Maybe I'll take up medium-format instead.

It's just a hobby, either way.
