The Vikings of the 70s were great. Bud Grant's genius, Tarkenton's scrambling about, Chuck Foreman's bruising runs, the Purple People Eaters on defense and that miserable tundra on which they laid others waste. [Damn shame the went indoors.]
The Packers of the 70s weren't any good. I only remember 1 good year (10 win in 1972?). They usually won like 4 or 5 or 6 games. I think they won 8 under Starr one year, but otherwise they weren't too good.
