When I was in college we used to get something that was cheaper than MD 20/20, etc. It was called "Pluck" and had a red fox on the label.

The name is actually derived from people drinking wine for "courage" [a meaning of "pluck"] before getting into gang fights.

It was disgusting. Sadly I also had quite a bit of beer before my "Pluck" and went from getting close to making out with a cute chunker of German Catholic descent to vomiting in my bunk.
