John Travolta's 16-year-old son Jett dies in the Bahamas on family vacation

John Travolta's 16-year-old son died Friday while on vacation with his family in the Bahamas, police confirmed.

Jett Travolta died after falling in the bathtub at Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island, police said.

Police said they were called to the luxury hotel about 10:30 a.m. and found the teen in a "semi-conscious state."

He was pronounced dead about two hours later at Rand Memorial Hospital, officials said.

The actor's attorney, Michael Ossi, told the website TMZ.com that Jett suffered a seizure before falling.
