That's a very narrow-minded statement to make. Based on what? I swear Darrah, every time I start to like you and actually give what you say a chance, you have to go and say something stupid like this.

It's been said a few times lately, but the world isn't black and white like you seem to think it is, there are shades of gray. It takes two to argue, correct? Then why is everything the man's fault?

When I was growing up my dad was a verbally abusive alcoholic, and both my mom and my grandma always blamed everything on him. I grew up thinking the same because I didn't know any differently.

It wasn't until I became an adult that I started to see all of the constant judging my mom threw at him, non-stop nagging as to how he's not making enough money, he's not allowed to buy anything he wants with his money, etc. Then I began to understand cause and effect, and how the way that two people interact with each other on a daily basis can dictate the "mood" or atmosphere" of a household.

From the sounds of it, your situation was different. But when you make generalizing statements like you tend to do, it completely removes any credibility you may have, and you just come off as having only one agenda.
