We don't know the whole story and neither do you. My aunt is running them into debt with credit cards. But her husband abused her and the kids for years. Shopping is somewhat of therapy for her and makes her feel better at the moment. But she's in such debt and sees no way out of it. Not just shopping but spending thousands on her daughter's rehab and medical expenses and daughter's new baby. Look at the bigger picture and it all falls back to the husband abusing the entire family.
