Showers vary. One boondocking (no hookup) site had a water pump, so I got a gallon from there in a bucket, and a big sponge, and cleaned up. Almost all RVs have a shower head you can easily turn on and off, so you can conserve water. A one gallon shower is a bit rough, after a couple days I give myself a little more time to get good and clean.
Let me add that there are tons and tons of RV parks, state parks, and Federal places where you have full hookups. That means at each site you hook up your water, sewer, and electric, and use all you care to. The spot I stayed for a month had full hook-ups. Rents are a lot cheaper by the month, I paid $250 for the month there. And RVers are notoriously very friendly with each other, I enjoyed the old man with the '51 Ford across from me.
Also, most fulltimers with motorhomes get the larger Class A motorhomes that look like buses. Usually, only single folks like me fultime a Class C (van chassis). Technically, mine is a Class B+ because there is no bed over the cab, like most Class C's.
