No, SD. Every time Traci is anywhere they say, "She's the under-aged girl the porn industry abused." She helps no porn star. She's used an example of porn's worst.

There is no direct path from Traci to any porn person getting a mainstream chance.

More likely, Sasha owes more of her breaks to the likes of Jenna and, IMO, to Howard Stern and the internet mainstreaming porn. The price may be overcoming Jenna baggage. But, who knows? Little Sasha might create a bit of her own for the next flavor of the month to overcome.


I don't think I have ever heard Traci say the industry abused her. People before she got into porn, yes they abused her. But I have seen interviews with Traci saying no one ever put a gun to her head when she started doing porn. That she hated being poor, needed the money, was young, and was a drug addict. That's pretty much a large percentage of the women in porn today.

Unlike Jenna who does pity-party interviews and how she was forced to get implants and everything else that went wrong for her in porn. I saw this anti-porn Myspace page and they had a blog in it and it said how Jenna Jameson was the biggest spokesperson against porn. They took many quotes from her book and others from other interviews. But it was about 25 or so things Jenna had said and it's far worse than anything Traci Lords has ever said against porn. Sasha's two movies aren't even out yet and you guys think she's more mainstream than Traci who has a 22 year long mainstream Hollywood career. You're comparing Sasha's American Apparel ad while Traci was in a Guess Jeans print and national television campaign with actress Juliette Lewis. Guess Jeans trumps American Apparel any day.

As I said before, I have nothing against Sasha or Katie. But it's all you guys putting down Traci's accomplishments when she is by far the most successful former/porn star in Hollywood. The woman won an acting award and you guys think it's no big deal. A FORMER/PORN STAR won an ACTING award. Name anyone else who has?? She's had her songs featured in major motion pictures and television commercials. For fucks sake!! What does a woman have to do around here to get noticed??
