Yes, it's true. All over Britain there are roving gangs of street thugs who will viciously beat any American on sight, regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or whether they approved of 'The War On Terror' or not. I believe your State Department has already issued guidelines to the effect that Americans abroad should end every sentence with an 'Eh?' and douse themselves in Maple syrup to trick any potential attackers into thinking that they are in fact Canadian.

Also, US flags outsold the Nintendo Wii at Christmas simply because we love burning them so much whilst hitting portraits of George W. Bush with our shoes and chanting a bunch of gibberish about infidels and jihad and shit like that. These are the very values upon which our great nation was built .

My solemn advice to you Darrah would be to stay out of Britain and instead visit countries where Americans are more warmly received, like Pakistan, Iran or even France.
