Xmas eve was every type of fish imaginable....the best day ever for eating in an Italians house. Antipasto first, salami, soppresata, cappicola, ham, provolone, red roasted peppers, green olives and a mixtures of carrots, celery, onions, peppers in a vinegar sauce.
Then on to dinner about 1 1/2 later.
Shrimp cocktail and fried, Lobster w/butter sauce, Octopus in red sauce w/Linguine, Fried Calamari, Fried Fillet and some Broiled, Dried/Salted Cod (in a cold salad), fried Eels (gross), fish salad with all of above in a lemon/parsley juice.
Lots of Liquor and 6 desserts.

On the Day they make meat, Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef, Leg of Lamb and tons of stuff on the side, Potatoes, Broccoli and Broccoli Rabe, Corn, Yams, regular Romaine Salad, and of course they had tons of bread in every possible shape.
