I cooked a vegetable chowder.
My dad made some shrimp and crab legs.
My sister cooked some acorn squash and made some kind of elaborate salad.

I thought everything was pretty good.

Checked the pantry, and realized I could bake a loaf of No-Knead Bread:




And then make Bacon and Egg sandwiches:

Made Christmas brunch: Frittata with andouille sausage, peppers, onions cheadder cheese, tater tots, coffee & bloodies.

A standing rib-roast, baked potatoes, green peas and toasted bread. (I don't eat bread).

Hopefully the tater tots remained outside of the frittata (and Alex Panzie wonders if gobs of ketchup was involved).

Chicken curry with rotti bread.

Me too -- chicken curry with rotis. With an awesome aloo mutter.

We had Kartoffelsalat (German potatoe salad) with ham and beans. She was in charge of the menu. Ate, napped, woke up then invited friends; then repeat- minus the nap.

Now sipping on Bad Elf Winter's Ale coz I suppose it all part of the marketing scam.

Xmas eve was every type of fish imaginable....the best day ever for eating in an Italians house. Antipasto first, salami, soppresata, cappicola, ham, provolone, red roasted peppers, green olives and a mixtures of carrots, celery, onions, peppers in a vinegar sauce.
Then on to dinner about 1 1/2 later.
Shrimp cocktail and fried, Lobster w/butter sauce, Octopus in red sauce w/Linguine, Fried Calamari, Fried Fillet and some Broiled, Dried/Salted Cod (in a cold salad), fried Eels (gross), fish salad with all of above in a lemon/parsley juice.
Lots of Liquor and 6 desserts.

On the Day they make meat, Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef, Leg of Lamb and tons of stuff on the side, Potatoes, Broccoli and Broccoli Rabe, Corn, Yams, regular Romaine Salad, and of course they had tons of bread in every possible shape.

i made all the usual shit... my favorite things were a cranberry trifle and this sweet potato cass with pecan streusal topping. it tastes like sweet potato pie with pecan pie on top, yumz. my inlaws ate so much and took so much home that i didn't even have enough leftovers for dinner tonight, so i'm making pizza lasagna.

oh and pretty i'm totally stealing your cherry coke ham thing. i make mine with ginger ale

I had leftover Purdue Over-Stuffer roaster.

I roasted a small hen turkey and froze most of it for sandwiches. Smashed sweet potatoes, orange/cranberry chutney and fresh kale\frozen spinach were the veggies. No dessert. Boiled the bones for soup stock.
