I don't get enough gifts to regift.
I tell everyone to consult my 100-odd item Amazon Wish List.
Somehow my sister manages to get me Simpsons Season 11 without realizing that I need Simpsons 1-10.
Also, someone sent me a knife-sharpening kit* anonymously, so I have to ask people about it, trying to ascertain if I should get them a "New Years Gift" to compensate.

this goes out to anyone who gets these no class presents...fucking fruit cake. i send that shit back to them every year....no there are OLD folks....and i guess this shit was cool in "there day"......
but I wrote a letter to the predident elect and told him....the first executive order that he sould make is outlawing these distguisting pieces of garbage.
and by the way....do get too into the psychology of that being MY gift.....he orders in bulk...for the family discount.

I've never regifted per se, but when I worked for the internet design company you were required to bring in gifts you were given and didn't like.
They then distributed numbers and each person got to take something that was brought in.
The women in the office had a name for this ... I have no idea what it was ... but they were odd and obsessed with "Sex and the City", so I paid little attention to them unless they were wearing short skirts or something see-thru.
I brought in a bunch of crap I got over the years. It was great since some of our morons forgot to bring stuff in ... with my crap there was much to go around.
In short, most of my stuff was the first stuff chosen. I guess they were good presents after all. Just not good for me.

Wine, but not maliciously. I had a bottle of WolfBlass (meh) that was a 40th bday gift. I had to go pick doggie up at my ex's and give her a little gift (American Apparel knee-highs) and she was lamenting on how she had no vino for dinner tomorrow. So I just wrapped it up and gave it to her with the socks...

I dont do that, but i dont blame people who do. Generally the only shit I will ever regret receiving are various gift baskets and foodstuffs. I give all that shit to the Homeless shelter in Hartford.
Gift cards people....I've taken to giving anyone I like and feel worthy of gifts a gift card or certificate from something or someplace with good, useful, nice shit. Or if its a close friend or relative, I give this piece of paper called a CHECK.

note to the guys: the strippers you bring flowers to always give them away to the other girls in the dressing room (but i keep one, and have a collection on my locker now )
the perfume we'll keep
never can have enough dirty whore scent on hand
the jewelery gets pawned or sold- our boyfriends dont like it when we wear stuff you bought for us
this year was hefty on gift cards- probably cause i put gift cards for everything from natural grocers to itunes on my wishlist and refer dudes to the wishlist when they ask what i want
so im regifting alot of gift cards

I don't think I've ever re-gifted in my entire life. I would feel hurt if I learned someone did that to a gift I gave them.
