"Now for the bad news. The makeup artist/booking agent for Overboard called me. Evidently the girl, Velicity Von, hadn't shown up and wasn't answering her phone. Velicity is a girl who came into the business about 2 years ago and became very popular due to her fantastic scenes and curvacious body. Then she met the wrong guy and became mired in heavy drug use. She disappeared from the business, and wasn't seen for at least 9 months. Then a few months ago, she re-surfaced, and did a few scenes for Danny Dukes and Jimmy Lifestyles. Danny Dukes was a good friend of mine, whom I shot for many times. He died of a heroin overdose. Danny didn't do heroin. Velicity Von was there when it happened. I was not there, so I am saying nothing definitive, but lets just say that I know when 2+2=4. I started making some calls, and found out that she hadn't been showing up to just about every shoot she was scheduled for. This makes me sad because I liked Velicity from the moment I first met her. She was vibrant, funny, and very sexy. I wish I could have helped her, but she, like many people in our business, was beyond my sphere of influence"

" Okay, one more thing. A few days ago, I ripped Velicity Von for being a no call, no show to my scene that other day and costing me my scene rate (remember I don't take kill fees). I will admit that I was a little upset because that day was my friend Danny Dukes birthday, and he is gone forever. I might have been a little harsh on Velicity, but I still am upset over the fact that she didn't show and MIGHT have played a role in the tragedy that night."
