COLFAX, Wash. — The pornographic film actor known as Jack Venice was given a life sentence for raping a woman at a Washington State University sorority. Under the sentence he received Friday in Whitman County Superior Court, the 26-year-old native of Houston, Christopher Jack Reid, will be eligible for parole in nine years. Reid was convicted in October of second-degree rape and three burglary counts. KRPL reports Reid told the court he is sorry for what happened to the victim but maintains his innocence. His lawyer plans an appeal. The victim told the court she is afraid of being attacked again and sleeps with the lights on. Life as a sentence varies from state to state and if they are in a state or federal facility and what exact laws that have been violated. Unless you get life WITHOUT the possibility of parole...chances are you will eventually get out. Manson even has (even though he will NEVER get released) regular parole hearings – CBS News from 2002

From what I understand he was offered a plea deal of 4 months by the prosecuting attorney prior to going to trial.
If the man was guilty he would have jumped at that deal. The fact that he turned it down and went to trial says to me that he believes he is innocent.

I can understand about being a man and being able to drink more than a woman theoretically without being as drunk because most men weigh more than women, but what does being a marine and being in good shape have anything to do with the amount of alcohol it takes for someone to get drunk?

A refresher. The original complaint was basically: Police reports say a Washington State student who was sleeping at the Kappa Alpha Theta house awoke early on Sept. 13 to find two men in her room. Both fled. The woman, who is not a member of the sorority, told police she believes she was sexually assaulted in her sleep. Kyle Schott, 23, a Washington State student, told officers that he watched as Reid "spooned" with the victim and touched her as she slept, according to court papers. Schott said he handed Reid a condom, and the victim said she believed the sound of a condom package being opened may have awakened her, court documents said. Schott was arrested Friday in Pullman and is free on $100,000 bail. There's a group of people that were with her that night who also went back to the sorority with her while she slept in one room and the others throughout the rest of the home. Then you have Venice and his accomplice that tried to break into many other sororities and fraternities that night and thrown out of one after Venice exposed himself. Venice drove 288 miles there to "party" and was turned down by every woman in that town that he approached. He was telling people he was a porn star and told others he was there looking for girls to have sex with. Venice and the abused woman had never met before.

So I am right, no rape kit and only hearsay evidence. What was the BAC of the girl the night before? Did Jack gain entrance through the window or just crash a party? Did the whore say no or was she just too drunk to remember? Her friends weren't in the room and only the dude who dropped the dime was present (no motive to lie there).

According to reports, Reid and Schott first stopped at a house party, where a drunken Reid allegedly boasted again about his porn profession and offered a resident $500 to use his bed to shoot a video. The two were thrown out after Reid pulled out his penis.
Schott said he and Reid then prowled the WSU campus, breaking into three sorority houses and a frat house. The sexual assault took place at the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority at around 4 a.m.
Schott testified that he and Reid found a woman asleep in a bedroom at the Kappa Alpha Theta house, and Reid boasted that he could get the woman to have sex with him. Schott said that he goaded Reid by saying he couldn't get the woman to do it.
"[Reid] explained this is what he was looking for,” Schott said. “I was kind of reluctant, but he seemed used to the situation."
According to Schott, Reid fondled and spooned the sleeping woman and then asked him for a condom.
The victim told jurors she woke up on the floor to the sound of a condom wrapper being torn. She felt someone touching her genitals and turned around to see two men in the room - one of them, she said, was Reid.
"When I rolled over, I saw his face," she said. "I can't forget that face."
While Reid may not have had intercourse with the victim, Washington state law defines an act of penetration as rape. According to Schott, Reid may have penetrated the victim with his finger or his penis. Schott admitted to touching the woman sexually himself.
"There hasn’t been a day since it happened that I haven’t felt sorry, not for myself, but for her, her whole sorority and the whole situation," Schott said. "I had never been in a situation like that. It was just stupidity and curiosity that drove me to do so."
When the victim awoke, the two men fled. She reported the rape at about 4:30 a.m.
Bugbee insisted that Reid had left Schott before the incident at Kappa Alpha Theta. The defense claimed a third man, former WSU student Colin Davis, was the one in the victim's bedroom with Schott.
Davis admitted on the witness stand that he was with Reid and Schott at Stubblefield's on the night of the rape, but said he left them at the bar and went home drunk. Cell phone records showed that Davis did not contact Schott or Reid after returning home.
The defense pointed to DNA evidence from the condom, a tampon, and the victim's rape kit that did not match Reid. But a forensic scientist testified that the inconclusive DNA tests could not rule out Reid or Schott.
Bugbee told jurors that Reid was unfairly charged in the case because of his association with the adult industry. The defense attorney argued that Schott had falsely implicated Reid to cover up for his friend, Davis.
"Chris Reid is a scapegoat, and he’s a darn good scapegoat,” Bugbee said. "He had no film crew. He talks a big game, but he had no intent to do scenes in Pullman. Despite what he said, it’s just his way to get in and meet people."
Reid has performed in more than 140 adult videos since entering the business in 2004. He is best known for his appearances in Shane's World titles such as College Amateur Tour (which he directed), Shane's World: Girls Night Out, California Dreamin' and Frat House Fuckfest. Reid is also the current boyfriend of Vivid contract girl Hanna Hilton.

Here is another possible scenario: Jack is the last man in on the train and she wakes up humiliated, changes her mind, and Schott goes along with the lie to keep himself out of trouble. Jack's defense makes up a bullshit story because they have nothing to refute the circumstantial evidence.

Ya know, I was gonna stay the hell away from this thread, until Cit pretty much said what I'd been thinking all along.

Credible in court is not the same as plausible. Did Jack vacuum the bed before he fled, or the carpet? No way. If he was in the same bed he left hairs. Either the Police weren't doing their jobs, didn't deploy the rape kit correctly, or they were pushing the case in another direction. I'm sure Jack did just what his lawyer told him to do whether that lawyer was competent or not, time will tell.

By keeping him off the stand his lawyer could go after the weaknesses in the prosecutions case without having to dig himself out from Jack cratering during his testimony.
That's an awful lot of maybes. I'm not saying Jack wouldn't hurt his own case (still a maybe), what I'm saying is why risk his credibility when you see he is being railroaded. Why not save his testimony for a possibly less hostile venue on appeal?
They have a lot of "evidence" but can't physically tie him to the room except through one coerced witness (going to receive less time) and a hung over whore who didn't even know she was being raped until after they fled? He does interviews saying his daughter won't be like Christina and Britney and won't dress like how they do. But his daughter usually walks around butt ass naked trying to get a music career from her father's name. Hulk spent over four million dollars on his daughter's album but it never sold. Yeah because she has no talent.
Whatever Hulk is going through now is karma and justice for all the misery he's inflicted on people throughout the years. Yes his wife is also responsible for how worthless her children have turned out.

But he didn’t have success while the two were drinking at a bar called Stubblefield’s, he said. Schott was originally charged with second-degree rape and several burglary counts, the same as Reid. But he agreed to plead guilty to lesser charges of third-degree rape and second-degree burglary in exchange for his testimony. After they stopped to play a drinking game at a house party on Ruby Street, Schott said Reid wanted to go to sororities in search of women. Schott said they were both drunk, and his memory of the order of events might be hazy. But he said that they first went to the Pi Beta Phi sorority and climbed up on an outside balcony. Reid, who acts under the name Jack Venice, entered the sorority through a window, while he stayed on the balcony, Schott said. He said he tried to discourage Reid as he threw pillows and bedding down from a third-story window. Whitman County Prosecutor Denis Tracy asked Schott if they were accompanied by a third person, as a resident of the sorority testified earlier. But Schott said only he and Reid were involved. Reid’s attorney, Chris Bugbee, said Schott and another man are the guilty parties, and Reid left them before the alleged rape occurred. Schott said he boosted Reid through a window at the Delta Gamma sorority, and Reid let him in through the front door. Two residents testified Thursday they kicked the men out after a brief confrontation. Schott said they then went to the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, where Reid began randomly punching numbers on the front door security keypad. Two residents confronted the men, and Reid asked them for beer or water, and if they were up for partying. He said the men told them to leave, and they did. They went to the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, where they both entered through a window, Schott said. They went into a basement computer lab, he said, where Reid accessed Web sites on a laptop left running there. Schott said he didn’t see which sites Reid visited, but the owner of the computer testified she found pornography on her screen in the morning. He and Reid then left the computer lab, Schott said. “He said ‘let’s check out upstairs’” to see if any women were awake, Schott said. They entered a hallway and went to a room where they could see light from a television coming through a cracked door, Schott said, and Reid pushed open the door. “There was a female sleeping on the floor in a semi-fetal position, facing left,” Schott said. Reid lifted the blanket partially covering her, he said, fully exposing her thong underwear. They then went out onto a nearby balcony, where Reid told him he found what he was looking for, Schott said. He said he basically challenged Reid to do something. “It was the biggest mistake of the night,” he said. He and Reid re-entered the room and lay down next to the sleeping woman. “I could tell he was rubbing her with his hands and his body.” Schott said Reid pulled his pants and the woman’s underwear down to knee-level, and began feeling her. Reid asked for a condom, and Schott gave him one. Schott said he touched the woman. Reid put on the condom and began rubbing against the woman, Schott said. He said he was in a corner of the room when Reid suddenly got up, pulled up his pants and ran from the room. Both men left the sorority via an outside stairway, he said. The woman testified earlier she awakened to see Reid behind her, and felt something penetrating her. She testified she didn’t see Schott’s face. The tampon was apparently tested to determine if defendants touched it: Before Davis took the witness stand, forensic scientist Lisa Turpen gave her testimony. Turpen, a Washington State Patrol DNA analyst, did DNA tests on some of the evidence in the case. Those tests included a condom wrapper and tampon found in the Kappa Alpha Theta bedroom where the alleged rape occured. She also tested a sexual assault evidence kit, or rape kit, completed Sept. 13. She found DNA on the condom wrapper from the victim and two men, she said. The complex mixture of DNA did not rule out the possibility of more than three individuals. She said both Schott and Reid could have contributed to the DNA on the condom wrapper. However, forensic statistics show one in three Americans would also test as potential contributors. Therefore, DNA tests could not conclusively pinpoint or exclude Schott or Reid, she said. An Ohio DNA analyst, who also tested evidence, told the jury she found male DNA on the victim’s tampon string.
