Mike makes a good point here. Of course, whores lie, but I believe one performer told a few of us during my first AEE/AVN that she was only getting $500 per day. Not really bad money for standing around signing shit for fans, but certainly not the $1000 per day that someone noted (in another thread).

Alot of the top 'wishlist' girls were getting pulled by studios 3-4 years ago for the highest rates. It was like one of those reality shows, when widdled down the last weeks, you either went on your own dime - or took whatever money / daily rate X company was willing to offer.

Unfortunately, porn is one of those industries where even the biggest skanks think they are hot shit, and will wait it out 'til the end. It would be nice if the reality check set in, and she realized she's just another sperm dumpster not fit for a job in regular society...take it or leave it.
