see my rant elsewhere....but the "Celebration of porn" that was the AEE/AVN event in Vegas needs to go the way of the VHS cassette. Porn has a number of other "Conventions" anyway throughout the year...I think Erotica LA should become the new focus. Costs would be greatly reduced, the locality makes sense, and as the "industry" evolves to adapt to the new paradigms and environment, the SHOW itself can be the focus of those changes and the "celebration" of the work that AEE is supposed to be. Even this is still bullshit, but it is more modestly expensive bullshit and just makes sense logistically in Los Angeles.

Vegas has become untenable anyway....I hate the place, and the very characterstics that used to make Vegas the ideal place to hold AEE/AVN back in the late 80s thru the 1990s are long gone. The city is a total clusterfuck, outrageously overpriced for what it now offers, and a real fucking pain in the ass in ALL the worst ways. Just STOP AEE/AVN in Vegas...Stop it...STOP IT.....STOPPPPPPP!
