Let me start by saying that it is obvious you are not experienced in the industry. Also from my experience most girls that do it just for the money are prostitutes, so I wont be surprised if you are one. So far you are the only one in this post hiding behind an unknown identity (if that is you in the picture, that would explain your frustration towards the industry). Now (unlike you) I’ll tell you a little about me and why I am “so money conscious”. I just started this company after working for others in the industry over 6 years (you were probably 15 then). Obviously you know nothing about business, so let me educate you a tiny bit. The costs (especially when starting from nothing) are enormous. Now I am starting with my hard earned dollars, no investors, no partners, and I am not wealthy (yet). So yes I am looking for good rates that can match my budget. Now if you were a working model you would know that in order to get work in this industry and in any other industry its all about connections, reputation and good rapport. The models that I work with now might not get the standard rates but they get more content for their portfolio, they still make money, and most of all to show my appreciation I refer them to more work with others and will work with them MANY more times. Just as a producer has to start somewhere the models have to start somewhere. And the best part of this starting stage is that I get only the ones that are doing it because they love it and not just for the money. If you are just starting out and stuck on a rate you end up sitting at home in front of the computer in massage boards venting your frustration. So don’t try to impress me by saying “if it weren’t for US girls” cause you are not one of them girls who work out there.
Also I wasn’t criticizing modelgig or any one. I just thought it would be nice to give him some feedback, which I wish other producers would take the time to give me feedback when I started. And when you say World Modeling dosent do shit. I can strongly agree to that. I know Jim very well. And girls who look like shit with an attitude like yours, of course he doesn’t do shit. If you had a different attitude than you would have a totally different experience with World Modeling. This guy started before you were born. I wonder why he is in the business since 1976. because he doesn’t do shit?!
Since you have so many posts under your belt I am sure you spend lots of time in message boards, and on the computer. Lets hear your defensive reply.
