This week has been crazy: First it’s 30°, then it’s 50°, back to 30°, up to 62° two days ago. Now it's snowing. The sloppy wet kind.

I live in the High desert of Southern California. It has snowed at my house 2 times in the last 21 years,with the snow lasting less than an hour on the ground.
On Wednesday it snowed for 12 hours and the shit is still all over my yard.
And there is still water dripping off the roof.

Given all we know with today’s technology...why people still live in these places is just mad....I just don’t understand….. However I have read that the birth rate is higher 9 months after these traumatic weather events…..I still have no clue why this is either...

 Hah! I see. I like the north east though, despite the snow. The only time I visited Florida I felt like my lungs were going to mildew. The climate felt like living in an old locker room or something. I'm sure I would get used to it but it was a shock coming from central PA. As far as the 'Miami snow' it doesn't really interest me as much as Ontario hydroponics. I don't get it, coke makes me clean my kitchen...

THIS SHIT IS CRAZY....
I have so much snow that I have no where else to put it.....I can't see cross traffic as i pull out of my drive way and now...we are fucking freezing...currently -3...don't even ask what the damn windchill is....so cold that every school district around me has closed school for tomorrow....and that is rare for them to call off school so far before 5:30am.

well just woke up about 20 minutes ago to what I hear is -23.....had to go outside to pull some stuff out the garage...(bad choice)
the only good thing about these snow days is that I get to sleep in for a change.....bad thing is that finals are next week and this group has lost two days of learning....we will make the days up but at the end of the year with a different group of kids.....go figure...(why can't they just adjust the semester)
