Hi there Mr. modelgig,
Joe here from Flesh Flower Productions. I don’t know you but I really hope you can take advice without being defensive and getting it the wrong way. I am not wasting any of my precious time to attack anyone, but as a producer in the adult industry I want to give you a tip or two;
I contacted you a while ago about a model I wanted to hire who was on your website (Modelgig.com), to remind you I was the one who complimented your site and said it was my favorite adult models site. For some reason I thought you were going to have a booth at Erotica L.A. and was hoping to see you there. Anyway back to my point. After writing you and expressing my interest in one of your models. I was surprised of the very unprofessional reply you sent back. If you don’t remember it was maybe one line saying what the model charges ($700). And that was it! Now it seems to me that you are working hard to put these models out there, but you are not working hard in negotiating the bookings for them. To tell you what I mean. Very coincidentally the same model I was interested in from your site contacted me and showed interest in working with me. I booked that model for less than half from what you asked for! And also I booked another model who is on your website for a great rate! so just to help a little I wanted to tell you this. It is less one producer who was interested in working with modelgig. If the above scenario happened only with me (for what ever reason) than its OK. But if this is how you try to book your models with everyone who contacts you. Well you might be loosing allot of business without even knowing it. My suggestion is; find out what type of work the employer is doing, who is he/she, where and when does he plan to shoot etc. get as much information as you can. Don’t quote a rate before you talk to your model about it. Maybe she really likes the producer/ photographer/ director’s work and willing to do it for a low rate just to work with them. You never know.
