PCWorld did an investigation a few years back(read it while at the dentist) and they concluded that Townshend didn't have anything illegal on his computer and that the sites he visited didn't have anything illegal on them.

Now the guy who played the principal in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" did get busted for taking pornographic pictures of a 14 year old boy along with having child porn.
